We have been very busy practising for our play this week. The play is very funny and requires us to learn lots of lines, dances and songs! About 120 children will take part in the play - that’s a lot of children to organise! We are having lots of fun learning our parts and look forward to the performances later this month.
We have recently returned from our half term holiday and were delighted to find so many comments from all over the world! Thank you so very much - we have enjoyed looking you up on Google Earth! We have visited Geelong and Melbourne in Australia, Trussville Alabama in America, and also Denmark. Closer to home we have found Maryport in Cumbria and Dingwall in Scotland. We really enjoyed exploring Dingwall’s blog - especially the videos and pirate song!!!
This week we have all had a chance to explore different blogs, locate places on Google Earth and write comments. We are definitely becoming better bloggers. It is poetry week in Literacy - perhaps you have a good poem you can share with us? So far we really like Michael Rosen’s book of very silly poems!
At the end of this half term we will be performing our Year 3 and Year 4 play Fiends Reunited. Have any of you bloggers ever heard of it? We have a lot of rehearsals to do before the big performances and we will let you know how it’s all going!
Yestaerday Mr O Brien taught us how to blog. We were very excited when we saw our blogging site and waited patiently for our first comments. We were extremely pleased to find 4 comments waiting for us this morning - one from Luwis in our class! Today in ICT we are going to become better bloggers and have a go ourselves at reading and commenting on other blogsites from our school. We’ll let you know later how we got on!
We are Year 4 at Priestsic Primary School, in Sutton - in - Ashfield, in Nottinghamshire. Our teachers are Mrs Stamp, Mrs Daughton and Mrs Barsby - we are two classes combined that want to experience the exciting world of Blogging. You might have already visited the other blogs in our school and we really hope you enjoy the Year 4 contribution. We are a very friendly bunch of kids and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
